Dear patient,

Just checking in to see how you are doing and whether or not your head— as a patient recently described to me why she needed a couple nasal specific treatments—is “doing its thing again”!! If this could be you, then I’m at your service.

As you may well know, Spring is the season of allergies, pollens, grass seeds, and of course weather changes –lots of sun lately!!—warm/hot along with the usual Oregon weather.

You may be a walking barometer because of your sinus issues so you could probably tell the weather reporters what’s coming. But maybe not. Maybe you’re doing really well, which I hope for.

But maybe your symptoms have returned and the advertisements for Flonase, Mucinex, Afrin, Sudafed, Claritin, etc., are getting your attention. I know I see these ads all the time. And they always say to “Ask Your Doctor” if any of these drugs are right for you.

Well, if you ask my opinion, other than an emergency, as they say on the east coast “fuhgeddaboudit it”. And I have found in my clinical observations over 40 years now that patients who “stay ahead” of their symptoms, can simply enjoy their life more. Without drugs.
It’s called the Wellness Lifestyle. Nasal Specific Treatment is part of that Lifestyle for many of my patients, of all ages.

If your sinusitis symptoms—like congestion, sinus headaches, snoring, mouth breathing, lowered energy, etc., have returned, even constant, and are really bugging you, and you need a treatment or two, just give me a call and Esmeralda or Claudia will schedule you at your earliest convenience. Our summer hours are MWF 9-6, sometimes Saturday 9-10 if I’m not out watching my grandkids play soccer, baseball, etc.

Also, if the supplements you may have taken in the past are helping – which I truly hope so—or if you may have run out, then maybe it’s time to stock up. Or maybe—as Joan Rivers used to say: “Can we talk?” to review your supplement and dietary program. What with certain supply chain issues, I tell patients now if some supplement from me is working, have at least another bottle on hand so you don’t run out.

Dedicated to your health and wellness,

Dr. Siegfried
